I don't speak to her that often anyway, so I haven't noticed any difference... wasn't she moving somewhere, or getting a new job or something? Bound to keep you tied up for a while smiley - smiley

The Unc report smiley - winkeye

She moved in with PSG and got herself a job in the civil services. Been off line for a while and PSG has a cold personally I reckon he is holding her hostage somewhere smiley - winkeye

lol

That happened really fast between them, didn't it?
Hell, if I move in with someone within even the next ten years, you have permission to shoot me, even if I've known them for ages.
But good luck to them, I say. Just because it won't happen for me, doesn't mean it won't happen for someone else.

My belief is very different to yours but thats bacause I was fortunate to live with my bf for 2 years. I have the reverse of what Unc and PSG have experienced only being able to see my bf every other weekend now. smiley - sadface

But yes I understand where you are coming from they did take a risk that could either make or break them. Luckily I believe it made them more whole smiley - smiley and I hope they continue to be happy in one another's company. I'm not sure about speed I feel that me and my bf got together quickly and that could have made or breaked up the house (the others we lived with) luckily we were fine. I think if things are bound to happen like two people desiring to live with one another it will happen however long it takes. I hope it doesn't take too long before I'm with my partner.

Everyone's different and I don't blame you being nervous about living with someone who could end up being your future partner. I guess the trick is to see if you can cope with them for little amounts to big amounts before making the leap. But just as long as you are happy then that is the main thing and if you aren't happy then change that unhappy thing to make you happy. Hope you understand me quite the relationship spokee aren't I?!!! smiley - winkeye

I'm just skeptical about relationships. I haven't had any successful experience, so I'd be very wary of making a step like that only to have it blow up in my face again. Of course, I intend to find myself in a relationship again at some point, but I'd like to stay independant with it as well. It'd take a long time for me to truly trust that it wouldn't all break down. But then, I figure that if it's worth it, it'll stand the test of time and be worth the wait.

I certainly don't have any plans to make such commitments as family and cohabiting (with a significant other) in the near future.

I know the feeling if things don't work out with my current bf I don't think I'll bother going out with anyone ever again.

I feel like that a lot of the time, but then I remember there are certain things I need. Some of them could be obtained every so often on a one- off occasion, but I'm just not that kind of guy, and where would I get the rest? I guess I'll have to risk it some day. But then there's the problem of finding someone. Seems liek I won't have to take the risk after all...
