Basically a quick guide to the town I reside in at the moment. The town has a fairly interesting history, which I'm sure any reader would find out. I think it's a pretty comprehensive guide to Oneida, as I emailed the Mayor's office for most of the information I used.

Makes me wonder that this one has gone unnoticed for a whole week. It's ready!
Just two points: a) foreigners like me think of something different when reading 'Subway', so perhaps put in quotes and use a footnote to explain what kind of thing that is; and b) what's the nearest bigger town which can be found on a map, please?
Still, it's ready for some scout to be picked!

Nice changes!
I wonder if you should mention the population of Onieda - oh, and how do you pronounce the name of the town?

When we have an entry like this in the guide for every human settlement on the planet, the guide will be great indeed!
So now I know how the precolumbian tribe Oneida is pronounced (by post-columbian americans) -- Oh-nee-duh.
How the hell do the present-day denizens of the town pronounce it?
Are the Oneidans, being East Tennesseans, proponants of the state of Franklin?

The editors liked the piece, and it's now going to go past the sub-eds, legal team, and those strange creatures they keep in the basement, and enter the edited guide. Any questions - just answer them here, and I'll be happy to ask them. Congratulations on a splendid 'place' entry - and I hope you get to move somewhere more fun soon!

Wow! Thanks for the info Lucinda. Now my little town is getting a little recognition.
Sorry about not seeing the requests for how to pronounce the name. I just saw that today and updated the entry accordingly. Tell me if it helps!
Congratulations!
