May I just point out to any potential veggies reading these recipes, that the meat in the above recipes can be replaced by tvp (textured vegetable protein) mince or chunks (dried or hydrated and frozen).
With dried tvp, it can be rehydrated, then added to the recipe or once the sauce or "gravy" stage has been reached. Frozen tvp can be added, frozen just as meat would be.

There are some recipes in my cookery books, but I'd have to evict the spiders first...
I'll see what I can dig out that may be palatable for omnivores...

Not if you've eaten my pastry, it isn't! *blushes*
The last time I made pastry, it was rock hard. Even the dogs refused to chew on it, so I put it out for the birds who totally ignored it, even when it rained and became "softer". I'm sure NATO would be interested in the properties of my pastry!
Still, I'll see what I can find that's idiot proof (nothing is Gwen proof unfortunately!).
Is there an h2g2 Email address for me to send recipes to?

Your wish is my command oh great Shazzbut! (Sorry I can't help myself sometimes!)
I'll mention the idea for recipes from the h2g2 veg.soc. for The Post to other members and leave it up to them whether or not they want to submit any!
You'd better not tell TM where all these recipes are from, just in case he wants revenge for being experimented on.

Poor old you. I'd like to offer to help but think I'd prove unreliable becuase of family commitments. Also, I'm not exactly skilled in many areas (a bit of a thicky), but if there is something I can do to help, I'd be pleased to try.
