A Conversation for How to choose the right wedding dress
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

At this rate (one solo entry every 3.5 years) I'll be speeding my way to that golden-badged century in no time at all

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Apr 7, 2005
Oops! Just too late. Since I've spent the last 20 minutes working out this list, I'm going to give it here anyway. The sub will have to wade through these:
GuideML:
Don't use the tag to make blank lines. It should only be used to move onto a new line
without any blank line in between, for example in poetry. The and will break up your text into paragraphs. You don't need to provide extra blank lines.
Put paragraph marks around list items if some of the items are very long:
long list item
h2g2 style:
the guide can help --> the Guide can help
It is not considered good form to provide a link on the word "here". Instead of "You can read more about traditions and superstitions related to the colour of your dress here." you could put something like "There are many traditions and superstitions related to the colour of your dress."
Grammar:
My previous comment about joining sentences with commas still applies. I'm not going to list them all unless you want me to.
The following extra commas will make the sense flow better:
if your wedding is in a grand building that doesn’t mean --> if your wedding is in a grand building, that doesn’t mean
If you have a theme for your wedding that may dictate --> If you have a theme for your wedding, that may dictate
Like any other type of clothing wedding dresses are subject to fashion --> Like any other type of clothing, wedding dresses are subject to fashion
you may well have walked past one many times without noticing it is there -- the verb "is" does not sound quite right there. I suggest you change it to:
you may well have walked past one many times without noticing it
I think the following sounds better:
draw attention from --> draw attention away from
Typos:
assymmetric --> asymmetric
look it's best --> look its best
a-line --> A-line (a few places)
you need to order you dress --> you need to order your dress
