I loved Ixtapa! Hubby took me there last year and it was wonderful. I was surprised to see volkswagons everywhere though.Why are there so many?Is that where we send them when we are done with them?Why not toyota's? They are small.....just curious

VW are cheap and they consume little gasoline. They suck, but there are many people that cannot afford anything better. And actually, many cars are bought in the US and taken to Mexico (old cars, cheap). They are illegal, though. Most old cars with US liscence (SP?) plates you see in Mexico are probably illegal.
