A lesser known avenue of Neil Gaiman's career was writing the non-pervy bits for what used to be euphemistically called 'Men's Magazines' in the UK. I think he did interviews, rather than car reviews.

Neil also wrote a biography of Duran Duran, but he won't always admit to it if he's asked.
Having said that, it's also out of print and so may not have even existed....
