A Conversation for Peregrin's Campaign Headquarters

Peregrin

Feel free to ask me questions about anything here. Anything at all. Absolutely anything. Choose any subject you please. Even questions about my bank balance. Ask whatever you like. Query me on any grounds at all.

To kick off the questioning, I'll ask myself a question.

Peregrin, is it true that you once visited a website *other* than H2G2?

Whoops, I would have answered this question about ten hours ago, but Windows crashed on me. If I'm elected, one of my first tasks will be to order the bombing of Microsoft HQ.

Q: Is it true that you once visited a website *other* than H2G2?

A: Er, well, *ahem*... we all make mistakes. Yes I admit it, but it was my own webpage. Shameless plug: http://www.ianferguson.co.uk

Have you paid for the Copyright to use the CCTV footage from Mama Peta's Italian Restaurante?

If not please enclose the necessary cheque by return of post, thank you. smiley - smiley

DD - isn't filming people without their permission an invasion of privacy, and do you have a security licence granted from the local council allowing you to film?

Peregrin - is it true that you have feet? Namely, two - a left and a right foot? How long have you had them?

Questions

Peregrin

Yes - I admit it freely. I am proud of my feet. (I will avoid the obvious jokes about feeling attached to them)
I have one left foot and one right foot. The left foot is attached to my left leg, and the right foot is attached to my right leg, which is a convenient memory aid.
I have had them both for the same time - approximately 19 years, 10 months, 22 days, 12 hours and two minutes.

I'm only the manager of Mama Peta's. Peta is the owner and she has italics. smiley - winkeye

Do I detect a veiled threat there DD?!

I think DD is playing dirty by bringing Peta into this.
You may be just the manager, but you're the one who first mentioned security cameras, so they are your responsibility.
A very serious invasion of privacy has occured, and you are responsible.

Having been the victim of a couple of DEATH threats here I feel it is only wise to be secure in a place of work. smiley - smiley

You would boast about the Death Threats - trying to show off as normal. "Vote for me - I have Death Threats" - nice campaign, DD smiley - winkeye

Well that's not all of it. Also as for bringing Peta into it. She suggested it over at Floor 42. I merely obliged by setting it all up. smiley - winkeye

I'd like to ask Mr Peregrin his opinion of the ongoing feud between the People's Classic Goo Army and the Alabaster Popular Front.

Cool. Great question. Types DD in Alabaster whilst testing Ripley in Goo. smiley - smiley

Little Bo Peep - I've lost my sheep

Where's the food?

Questions

Post 16

Peregrin

The food? Oh sorry. I would have a selection of donuts on offer but Joanna and Eomando are in different parties.

Instead, all I've got to offer is beer and peanuts.

Regarding Classic Goo vs Alabaster, I think that both skins have advantages and disadvantages. I personally use Alabaster, because of the far quicker download speed (my computer insists on loading all the graphics again every time I load a new Classic Goo page), but I'd use Classic Goo if I could - it looks much nicer.

Next question: what do you feel about fire extinguishers? Is red really the best color for them?
