Being more of a video guy I've always gone with plain old 4:3 and 16:9. It's great to see all the ratios explained in one place. One comment, though- you may want to make it a little less technical for those who are...well..a little less technical!

Just spotted a couple of other things. Do you still use telecine chains to transfer film to video in Britain? Generally that was taken over by Flying Spot Scanners and Laser Film Recorders (for the reverse) some time ago over here. Also in deference to this side of the pond you may want to reference ASA in regard to ISO. I'm not entirely sure about that when it comes to cinema stock but in stills here ASA is a more common reference.
