Hi Dave,
Bel and I think this is a cracking bit of satire, and we'd like to know if you'd be happy for us to run it in 
at some point? If you're ok with that, you won't have to actually do anything - we'll basically just publish our own version when the time comes.
What do you think?

thank you, I'd be honoured. I had hoped that it would get into the public domain an possibly the Daily Mail, so the more publicity the better! Let me know if you want me to do/change anything.

Marvellous! I'd love to see the Mail run a story like this, actually - you sound pretty convincing 
If we need you for anything else, we'll give you a shout, but I think we'll just queue it and run it pretty much as it is.
As for wanting you to do anything - keep us in mind if you come up with anything similar
