Entry: Transportation Between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio - A3779670
Author: Jodan - What's a Tony Curtis? - U201497
I've made the sojourn from Dayton to Cincinnati many times, and have made the trip back just as many times.
So I thought I'd do something for the Hitchhikers out there. I've done a lot of Ohio entries, but not many geographic ones.

What? No one wants to read about Ohio?
And now for something more constructive...
--an scary highway >> a scary highway
--I75 >> I-75 (easier to read in some fonts, not confused with 175)
--try to avoid I75 at rush hour >> maybe a suggestion of when this might be?
--from 1829 until the railroad era (when it fell out of use), >> (when canals fell out of use)
--some find it cheaper to fly from their closest airport to the other one and then out to their destination >> fly to the other airport and then fly to their destinaiton? . Would it be better to rent a car, take a cab, walk or use public transport?
And might I suggest that going south on I-75 from Cincinnati you would reach Chattanooga (A1024138) before Dalton or Dayton . Of course, if it was alliteration you were going for, then by all means disregard.

"fly to the other airport and then fly to their destinaiton? . Would it be better to rent a car, take a cab, walk or use public transport?"
Walk? I don't know about walking.
There isn't much public transport between Dayton and Cincinnati, as the next section mentions. Renting a car and taking a cab seem, to me, to be a form of driving, which is in the previous section
"Of course, if it was alliteration you were going for, then by all means disregard."
Dalton and Dayton just both happen to be on Interstate 75. I couldn't pass up a chance for some good old fashion alliteration!

What I meant about the transportation bit is that you don't mention how to get to your destination once you've *flown* from one city to the other. How do you get around in the city once you've gotten there sans car?

Oh
That paragraph is about a layover or plane-change in your opposing city. For instance, the last time I flew, I flew from the Dayton airport to the Cincinnati airport, had a layover for an hour and a half (terrible) and then flew out towards my final destination (which was California, a little far to walk, which is probably what confused me)
I'll clarify that section and add your idea.

Okay, from that perspective it makes a lot more sense - I was reading that in the city-to-city transport frame of mind. It makes much more sense the way it's written now

I can see spelling mistakes Only I'm not going to tell you where! You have to find them for yourself
And Jodan...when can we stop reading about Ohio? I'm starting to run away screaming from PR now

Why didn't I think that would come back to bite me? Fair enough though, I'll proofread it.
When I'm out of things to say. Then I think I shall move on to...

Did a read through, changed quite a few things. Not sure if they were what you were looking for, but I think it reads more clearly now.

I hear the sound of barrels being scraped...
You would really fly 60 miles, just to get from one city to another? That's amazing. (And extortionately bad for the environment)
Is there no bus/coach service - Greyhound, I think you call it?
How about back roads - 60 miles is a good distance for an all day cycling trip - can I get there via less busy/more cyclist friendly roads?

Buses I will add. Good idea. Not sure why I didn't think of it myself
I honestly don't know about cycling roads. A lot of towns are connected to the outside world mostly through I-75. Of course, there very well could be a bike trail which I'm not aware of. I'll look into it, and if there is a good route, I'll add it

Yeah, there was a good route. And I've actually been on it a few years back. So I added a cycling section (five paragraphs worth) and then a short bus section.
