McKay The Disorganised

Well there's this on Guardian Unlimited - "He told the court he had had short-lived jobs in a pizzeria and as a refuse collector. But he was arrested in Romford, Essex, in June 2002, for shoplifting three pairs of jeans. Co-defendant and former room-mate Sidali Feddag claimed he was a prolific shoplifter, who lived on the sale of his spoils. "

Not exactly the same, as the agency claim isn't there, but by implication fairly substantive.

Since you didn't mention a specific agency I don't see what's so controversial - it's a bit like saying "he was employed in the service industry" - there's no party being defamed there.

Only living boy in New Cross - The Good, The Bad and the Average

I've done a lot of temping in my time and never once been asked for proof of who I am...or my qualifications...or often even for references....and these are so called reputable high street agencies...

We don't need to spend billions on ID cards in thic country we just need people to realise it's in everyone's interests to ask a few questions now and again..
