From now until the 5th of May - the BBC will have to respect even handed political broadcasting - something they must hate! Oh, how they love Darling Tony and co.smiley - magic

Do you really think so? Even after all the furious rows with Alistair Campbell over the BBC's Iraq coverage?

In any case, if they had 'left leanings', would they be supporting Tony Blair? smiley - bigeyes

smiley - huh?

I think that perhaps you can accuse the BBC of having a centrist bias (basically what I owuld expect) but left leaning?

May I remind you of BBC coverage of the Miners strike ect ect ad infinitum....

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

If anything, from waht I listened to (in the backgorund0 on radio four this morning, they'd seem to be less leanign towards the New Labour side of things. There was a feature on the media presentation or whatever they call such c**p New Labour did today, and the way they'd cut the audio, just made the participants, Blair and Brown, look like idiots.... weather that was the Beebs inte intention, its ahrd to say, though I have sufficient respect for people working for the Beeb to pressume they know their job, and that the way it came across was how they wanted it too.... Though, converly, I've certainly not heard as much coverage (as yet) on Teh conservative compaign, or that of the Lib Dems smiley - erm
