Well... after the panic with the Mayor voting last time, I thought it wise to allow 1 month for candidates to come forwards and present their statements/ pictures etc, 1 month for the actual campaiging/ muck throwing etc and 1 month for people to register their votes. I am sorry if this seems a long time, but I am doing this all by myself as well as running the POST, all purely voluntarily, and I only have one pair of hands LOL
Also... a lot of researchers may be lucky enough to have a holiday in the next couple of months so it seemed fair to make allowances for that also.
