Bangladesh, or People's Republic of Bangladesh as it is officially known, means (in Bangla, the language of Bangladesh) it is known as the country (desh) Bengal (Bangla). Bangladesh is located South and West of India, and is also bordered by the Bay of Bengal and Myanmar.
