What is this community they are talking about?

Community, noun Joint ownership, as ~ of goods; identity of character; fellowship (~ of interest etcetera); organized political, municipal, or social body; body of people living in same locality (~centre, place providing social and other facilities for a neighbourhood); body of people having religion, profession, hobby in common.
Like the experience of going from dialin to broadband, the pace of the society increases. Above a certain treshhold it comes alive.
I think there I have the point. Societies are sentient living beings. Like our body is made up of millions of cells, a society is made out of a minimum number of individuals. They also should do something the same preferrably more or less at the same time.
Everytime there is an attempt of transport of information between members they add up to the society as it is.
