smiley - yikes For an entry that went largely unnoticed for 2 weeks, it's a little odd to find 11 posts in the last day.

OK, the centre of the city/city centre debate is just a little bit silly, so I've opted to rewrite that part as being the the "centre of the island".

Bl**dy pedants.

I've added the bit about Claudes cameo appearance in San Andreas, a bit about Samuel L Jackson voicing Tenpenny, and after seeing a picture of the Forth bridges I've put in some info about them.

As regards why this is only about the PS2 games and not the series as a whole, well that was my original idea, but when I did a search I found this entry on the original GTA: A1148186. So rather than do an entry on all the games except for the original, I decided that I should just do one on these games.

Going back up to right at the top in History of the Franchise
(i.e. you look down from above)
You need to change that to ie

Back to the middle of GTA III Game-Play
Similarly, if you lose all your health then you get brought to a hospital with the same conditions 6.
There's a gap between the word 'conditions' and the footnote, take that out.

Going back a bit to the end of GTA III
"But success doesn’t come without it’s troubles, and many groups worldwide called for the game to be banned, and in some countries the more violent aspects of the game had to be cut out."
*copy and paste this*
But sucess doesn't come without its troubles and many groups worldwide called for the game to be banned. In some countries the more violent aspects of the game had to be cut out.

"Vice City is actually a prequel to GTA3 set in 1986 Vice City, and it relies heavily on shows like Miami Vice as inspiration."
Vice City is actually a prequal to GTA III, set in 80s Vice City, and it relies heavily on shows such as Miami Vice
*Might be worth linking to something about Miami Vice there*

Go through and change all the GTA3 to GTA III

"made GTA3 a hit while adding a few features of its own."
made GTA III a hit, whilst adding a few features of its own.

"but instead you play Tommy Vercetti, voiced by Ray Liotta. "
*new sentence* Instead, you play Tommy Vercetti, voiced by Ray Liotta

"This allows for better cut-scenes that help make the story more central to the game."
This allows for better cut-scenes, making the story more central to the game.

The first paragraph of The Story needs rewording. There are too many "so"s and a few other twiddly things that you may inadvertently change when you take out the "so"s

"Unfortunately things don’t go as planned, and at the meet with the suppliers, the Vance brothers, the group gets ambushed leaving two mafia soldiers and one of the Vance brothers dead."
Unfortunately things don't go as planned. Midway through the meeting with the suppliers, the Vance brothers, the group are ambushed, leaving two mafia soldiers and one Vance brother dead.

"Ken Rosenberg and Lance Vance and try to figure out who busted their deal."
Ken Rosenburg and Lance Vance to try and figure out who busted their deal.

"One of the major additions to the game is the improved graphics, which allow you to see things from further away and with more detail up close."
One of the major additions to the game is the improved graphics, allowing you to see things from further away and making up-close shots more detailed.

"But a new addition to the game is motorcycles7, which are more manoeuvrable than cars, but are easy to fall off causing you health damage."
A new addition to the game is motorcycles, more manoeuvrable than cars, but easy to fall off.

"The biggest change in the game is the ability to buy property."
This paragraph and the next you need to check what tense you're using. All references to the game play need to be in present tense rather than past.

"This music really helps in setting a 80s atmosphere for the game. In fact, Rockstar games got the licenses to so much music for the game that they released it all in a CD set."
This music really helps set an 80s atmosphere in the game. In fact, Rockstar Games got the licenses to so many pieces of music, that they released it all as a CD set.

"more colourful, place with beautiful beaches, and dilapidated slums"
You don't need either of those commas

You haven't mentioned the red light district...at least you haven't described it as such.

"Inter-global film studios"
Does this need to be capitalised? I can't remember if that's the whole name, if so it needs to be 'Inter-Global Film Studios'

“Guardian Angels”
Need to take away the double inverted commas
“Phnom Penh 86”
Same here

"Being released just a year after GTA3, there’s not much difference between the two games, but in this case more of the same wasn’t a bad thing for the fans"
Might be worth splitting this up into two sentences.

"While most GTA3 missions involved"
You used 'While' to start the previous sentence. It would just read better with something else smiley - smiley

"While most GTA3 missions involved just driving to locations and shooting enemies, Vice City made more original missions, like one where you’re a gunner on a helicopter trying to take out enemies on the roofs of buildings."
Whilst most GTA III missions just involve driving to locations and shooting enemies, Vice City has more original missions, including such scenarios as one where you're a gunner on a helicopter taking out enemies on the roofs of buildings.

"There was however some complaints from Cuban and Haitian officials"
There were however...

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Whoo! Well done GB!

And the reason you didn't need to do San Andreas is because I've tried to pull it for subbing smiley - laugh Figured that if I was going to give you such huge lists I might as well just get it sent up quickly.

Haven't played SA yet as it's so expensive and I'm trying to do a USA trip...but I don't see it having the level of class and flashiness as VC. smiley - erm

Just came across as tacky to me. The whole gansta thing annoying and the shoddy two player which could have been better if not stuck on at the minute.

Well the 2D grand theft autos were good when first released, and they we're like nothing I had ever played before. But it's impossible to ever go back and play them after playing the 3D versions.

And San Andreas wasn't tacky, just grittier. For months after Vice City came out I was felt that GTA III was better than it, although my opinion on that has changed now. But after a two days of playing San Andreas I felt that it was better than Vice City. Just my opinion though.
