Still four questions to be solved, so here's a clue:
7 and 12 are drivers, 13 and 21 are teams.
In no particular order, you should be looking for British, Italian, French and Belgian answers.

At last another one.... from (what) the early 80's ?
No.7 = Michele ALBORETO
I looked for him ages ago, but was looking for 9 (wrong) letters (Alberetto)

Correct.
He started in 1981, but was in Formula 1 until 1994.
He died in 2001; killed testing an Audi sportscar when he suffered a high-speed tyre failure at the Lausitzring in eastern Germany.

Ah Ha ! Gotcha !
The Belgian driver for No. 12 just has to be Thierry BOUTSEN. The only other Belgian F1 driver I can think of at the moment is Jacky Ickx.
Only saw your new clue after I'd posted my last (which must be the Italian), I must've been researching when you snuck in with that

Please Sir... (I can't find 'Hand up Smiley' anywhere... )
Quote from intro' to Petrolheads... (copy & paste) "I haven't gone back any earlier than 1950 to find these."
Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that the answer to No.21 must be BUGATTI. I don't believe Bugatti, certainly as a team, entered any GP after ,say, 1947, or maybe '48. Maybe my GP history's failing me again. (Nothing new there ! )

Spot on, Popa.
My source tells me that their last race was Gioacchino Colombo in the French Grand Prix in 1956. But I do like being quoted, especially when I think I'm right - Let's hope so anyway
So that completes Eagle Eye 7 - Well done everyone (well, Popa mostly ).
Still a couple left in Eagle Eye 9. EE10 later this week...

Just re-read my source. Colombo designed the final car, and Maurice Trintignant drove it in the French GP in 1955.

Wearing No.28, driven by Maurice Trintignant, started 18th on the grid, and retired after 18 laps ! But not listed in the constructors championship since there wasn't such a thing until 1958!
Nice job Icy... A trip down memory lane, shame about all the puddles
Key: Complain about this post
