A Conversation for The Development of Evolutionary Theory

There is a lot of good material about biological evolution on the web. A site that I have found useful is here:
[URL removed by moderator]
This is a website originally created as a FAQ archive in association with the USENET newsgroup talk.origins, which (amongst other things) is the place on the WWW where working evolutionary biologists like to hang out.
The newsgroup itself can often be a bit intimidating--many of the posters are either fundamentalist Christians or atheists having a go at one another--but underneath that there is a lot of interesting and highly technical discussion that can be a joy to eavesdrop on if you want to get a picture of how people who use and develop evolutionary concepts are thinking.
It's also a good place to ask questions if you are wondering where
to go next after reading the FAQs at the website.

Gack! "place on the WWW" is rubbish. I meant to write "USENET newsgroup".
