A Trog And His Wives, A Brief History

Trogs are permitted to have 569 wives the only trog to ever do this was Dorl Nacul who, after being unable to control his many wives, disappeared without a trace. Trogs normally stick to having about 100 at the most.
So, I hear you ask, why do Trogs take so many wives? Well Millions of years ago way, way, way, way, way, a bit further, no further than that, yep that’s it, in our history, was a time when females over ran the planet of Troglodite and males were very few and far between.
This created great discord on the planet and many wars between the females, who fought each other and tired to steel each others husbands.
Our Great King Yrneh prayed to the God Sethre that harmony would once again fall upon Troglodite. He prayed all day, every day for 50 years and finally the God Sethre came down to Troglodite.
He promised the females that he would bless them with many male heirs, so that the planet would once again be in harmony. But the females were not happy (why doesn’t that surprise me) and they pointed out to the God Sethre that many of them didn’t have husbands so how could his promise be fore filled. So God Sethre decreed that each male Trog must take more than one wife but no more that 569. (theres no point in being greedy now is there)
And from that day forward all Trogs lived in harmony.
