But is there any way to get the buttons aligned with the drop down box? And move the text 'Open in' - it seems stuck out of the way where it is at the moment.

Thanks smiley - smiley.

Yes, I'll mess around with it and try to make it look nicer.

What about now?

Yes, that looks good. How about putting the 'in' on the same lines as the buttons? And possibly a slight space between the buttons? Haviong them squashed together feels a little claustraphobic, I think. But it's definitely good. smiley - smiley

The 'in' doesn't look good on the second line as the buttons are no longer aligned with the drop-down list box. I've changed it again, added space, added an nbsp; and fiddled with it for ages. What do you think of it now?

The only problem is that it doesn't actually work. It keeps giving a javascript error. Is this becasue you're updating the list of ACEs or something?

And I think you may have missed out the   between the buttons in the actual listing of the code.

You're sure it doesn't work? Did you copy the full code?

Post 11

Alon (aka Mr.Cynic)

No, I didn't miss it out. I used an actual space instead. nbsp are only needed when two spaces are wanted.

You're right! GuideML interprets spaces differently to HTML (which the page is written in for the sake of the text areas). So I fixed it. Try it /again/! It /should/ work smiley - smiley.

Ok. I've tried the code out again and I get no errors. Are you trying copying both text boxes? Are you trying to have to ACElists? or have double code? You may only have one ACElist per page for the javascript to work. Are there any other scripts on your page? If it still doesn't work, feel free to e-mail the GuideML/HTML to me @ [email protected] and I'll try and sort it out. Sorry about all this hassle...

I'm only using the bottom box, and only having one ACElist. But I do have quite a few other lists on my page. Do you want the whole load of GuideML for my page, or just a section?

E-mail me the whole lot. I'll then look for conflicts and customise the script so it will work. But yes, give me the whole thing - GUIDE tag to GUIDE tag smiley - smiley.

The ACE drop-down still gives me a javascript error. All the other drop-downs seem to work though.

Does it give the error when used or when you create the entry?

I'll take a look at it though...
