I really liked what you wrote, but I felt there should be more. For one thing, you mentioned where you come from, and mountains, and gave an idea that there was salt around you. Am I to assume you are from Utah, where there is quite a bit of it?
As I said, there should be more. It was short and sweet, but seemed more of a literature bit, something like what Dave Barry might have written. If you wrote more about it, and kept the style the same, it could fit in anywhere!
It is a really nice peice, and if you choose to epand on it, I can say there really aren't too many entries on salt. One fellow has submitted an entry more on the scientific side of salt, your can be another side. Please do give it a try, I will look for it.
