I hope this isn't a bit short. It's all the information I could find. I wanted to bring some attention to the interrobang just because it looks cool

I never knew they were called that, or what they were used for - very interesting
One thing that bothered me was the quote -
'You wouldn't think I still sheep ears up my nose did you!?'
Is this the verb 'to sheep'!?

Very interesting Entry Kat - and right in the spirit of hootoo.
I'm always writing sentences that require an interrobang and to date have been using the clumsy '!?'. In future, I'll try to find the proper symbol on Wingdings 2.
One gripe - I had to read to the bottom of your Entry to discover what shape an interrobang is. Any chance of explaining this earlier?

Good point. I'm rather hoping that if it gets picked then someone will kindly do a picture of one to go at the top of the entry, as h2 doesn't seem to accept any coding to create an interrobang. I'll slot in a description of it at the start however. Thanks for pointing that out.

Perhaps you could insert it in a word document from wingdings 2 and then cut and paste it to your Entry?
Suggested improvement:
"...and still is '!?' As in..." > "...and still is '!?' as in:"
i.e. use lower case 'a' in 'as'. Put a colon at the end rather than the ellipses.

I tried pasting one in from Word and it just ended up as a ? Maybe I'll have...oh wait I can't look through the special characters coding for the BBC....the search function has gone up the flip.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jan 22, 2005
I think this is just the kind of entry the EG was made for And it'd be perfect for having a graphic too
"This punctuation marks is precisely correct"
Is that the actual quote, or a mis-type? If it's actually in the wuote then you need to put '[sic]' after the word 'marks'
contruct - construct
afterall - after all
hulahoops - hula hoops
"in the fonts, Lucida Sans"
no need for a comma

I think it is stretching it to say that the name "interrobang" comes from Latin. You seem to be overlooking the fact that what is called a question mark in the UK is also called an interrogation point in America.
I know that "interrogation" comes from Latin originally, but that is not really relevant.
