Emmily ~ Roses are red, Peas are green, My face is a laugh, But yours is a scream Started conversation Jan 28, 2005
I've got an idea for a collaborative Entry I'd like to start. I've done a search and there is an unedited version written in 1999 by a Researcher who's not posted since June last year.
There are other Researchers names in the Entry that are active.
What are my options please?

Create a new entry for the topic. If you want to use any of the material from the existing unedited entry, go ahead and do so, but then add in *all* of those authors as authors on the new entry. Submit the entry to the collaborative writing workshop. Leave messages on the personal spaces of all the authors on the existing unedited entry (including the inactive ones), letting them know, and inviting them to join in at the collaborative review thread.
If you don't want to use any of that material, then you can still leave messages on people's personal spaces inviting them to join in if you wish.

I would follow the same process as for any entry taken from the fleamarket. If you intend to use any of the othe researchers material then you will need to credit them - even the elvised one (and leave a note on his page)
But if you are starting it from fresh then it doesn't matter that there is an unedited one
