Need any help?
The Amazing Bongo! from whom all mortals flee Started conversation Jul 10, 2001
Can I be of any assistance? I've just finished my first year of a Biochemistry degree, and want something to occupy my time over summer.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

I have a degree in Molecular Biology, and three years of research.
My knowledge may be a bit out of date (1992), but any help I can give, just shout.
I'm new at this H2G2 stuff so let me know what you need me to do.

I am actually the Amazing Bongo, but had to start another H2G2 account, because my computer threw a tantrum and wouldn't let me auto-log-on as Bongo. I couldn't remember my username or password, so . . .
I am still willing to help, but have slightly less time now I have gone back to uni.
I am stronger in the molecular biology area than in cell biology, but could contribute to either. Quite interested in enzymes i.e. initiation, action mechanisms, inhibition and the like. I am also quite fascinated by DNA repair mechanisms.
I have also done some assignments on cellular ageing (esp. telomere shortening), so could conjure up something about that.
I can even study an organelle for you, if you really need me to. But only if I can do it from a molecular biologist's viewpoint.
Let me know what you want me to do.

Cheers If you could choose an organelle and do what you can with it, it would be most appreciated If I can help in any way just give me a yell Until later......
