Mini Roundabouts

0 Conversations

A small blob of white paint in the middle of any road junction designed solely to tempt you into crashing your car. All rules of motoring are deemed null and void at a mini roundabout where right of way is given to any motorist mad enough to leap out of the junction first.

Given the right conditions, each entrance to a road junction can be loaded with cars for up to ten minutes at a time before anyone is brave enough to drive across. Insurance details are then exchanged approximately 15 seconds later.

On a historical note, this contributor was priveleged enough to be lectured in mathematics by one of the original design team of the mini roundabout, who had found previous employment at the Transport Research Laboratory. He was later taught the error of his ways in the staff car park.
