Lord Wolfden, Paramount wasn't making enough money from it. Its ratings dropped below Paramount's level of comfort. Paramount were actually very merciful, in that they actually extended the season's run by a season in order to allow the show to tie up its loose ends and crawl into the corner before it died. Opinion has nothing to do with it, and although I'm fairly sure its against the laws of nature, GodBen's right.

Yeah. I read in an interview that Patrick Stewart reckons Star Trek has had its time, and that that's it. No more. Ever. Move on to Doctor Who, people, or the Twilight Zone.

Actually, he said he's interested in doing one last film but would be too old by the time of its production.

Did anyone hear how the Save Enterprise guys got on? Think they were trying to raise $3 million, but last I heard they only had a few thousand. But don't think they'd get very far even if they dud raise the moneyu. I've heard lots of people say threy were disappointed with Enterprise.
