There is no such language as Gaelic. We don't know where you got the idea that there is, but there isn't. It's called Irish, or Gaeilge as it's called in Irish. It really annoys some Irish people when people call it Gaelic. It even annoys me, and I hate the Irish language.
And are you sure they were singing in Irish? Because a lot of drunks just sound like that anyway.
