Very sad but true story Loony, it even used to happen in my day (which is a long time ago LOL). Have you ever noticed how the worst offenders are the parents whose own sporting careers were either pathetic or nonexistant.
Mind you, i remember one of our parents being sent off by a ref, he wasn't allowed on the oval area but had to stay behind the fence for the car park.......

At one game I attended recently a parent was going to knock the coach's (school teacher) head off because his nine-year-old son had been subbed off.
