So, how goes your day?
Vip Started conversation Apr 1, 2008
So far this morning I have managed to complete my main tasks for the day- calling up for the forms to register to vote, going into town to buy an alarm clock, and getting a morsel or two for dinner.
Now, I think it's time for a cup of before launching into the afternoon, don't you think?

Yes I'll just get some from the tea-reservoir, and a tea cup from the stock of
cups from the aircraft hanger... I have been meaning to make it bigger...

I've spent all day in a haze of steam from tea and coffee, and though not wearing a dressing gown, I might as well have been... A kind of 'non day' day really and sitting about drinking tea at the PC was pretty much the only things that happened all day

Hmm, I like your idea, 2legs. Just managed to crawl out of bed myself- it's practially nine o'clock!
Definitely time.
Plans for today:
-replace alarm clock with one that doesn't light up the entire room bright blue
-attend choir pracice in the evening
-uh, drink more >

*shudder*
I decided to get started on some noise manipulation that I've promised to a couple of friends. We've decided we want something quite spooky for a mock experiment that we're running. It includes lots of white noise and beeps. Twenty minutes of playing with that and I think my brain wants to seep out through my ears.
I definitely need a to help me recover!

I really ought to be starting work for the day... Seeing as how its 11 AM, but having another cup of tea first just seems like a better idea somehow

First to be polite: my day has been nice so far, thank you!
I've had a bowl of Jordans Country Crisp with chocolate chunks with milk. I have discovered them recently. It was a pleasent surprise, when I first bought it. So much better in taste then Kellogg's. Not to mention the price.
Then, I read about this Boston Tea Party, while I was having a cup of green . Appalled.
Such barbarians! Civilised people use eggs or
as a tool of protest.

One would have thought pies would have been sufficient. However, how can one make a *more* pressing tool? Surely using tea has to be the ultimate in protesting- if they care enough to sacrifice such a payload it *must* be important!
(Did you know that, after they dumped the tea, they desperately had to try to damp down all the stuff that floated to the surface, to prevent people skimming it from the top and selling it on?)
About to have breakfast myself. I think I might have some scrambled eggs, actually. Yum yum. Unfortunately my plans of painting some more furniture have been thwarted by the rain coming back and hiding away the lovely sun. I guess I'll have to go back to finishing all the inside tasks I've been ignoring for the last little while.
