Coping with defeat - practical

The morning after we we're walloped 15-1 by a team from Microsoft the following strategies for dealing with this have emerged:
(1) Denial - "Ah sure, its just a kick about..we're not here for the skills, just a bit of exercise and an excuse for a pint"
(2) Philosophical - "The difference between good and bad players is in what they do after a defeat"
(3) Blamestorming - "There was a weakness in the centre of the field..no one got the ball to feet past the half way line"
It doesn't look good for our Euro 2000 (AIG) internationals ;-(

It was the "Department of Physical Education" when I started. It's no wonder the standard of education is going down - they keep losing the faculties
