SiCoDe Software

3 Conversations

SiCoDe is a programming group located in both the United States and United Kingdom that programmes calculators from Texas Instruments, specifically the TI-86, the -83, the -85, the -82, and the -92. Their website, at sicodeticalc.org, is well laid out and shows the best aspects of the company. It does not, however, give a hint to the frantic flurry of e-mails that get zinged back and forth between members as they try to build the best BASIC programs and prove that BASIC programs can be advanced.

Actually, this software group has campaigned to demonstrate that BASIC is superior to Assembly Language. When that failed, they tried to prove that BASIC is at least the equal of Assembly. That campaign also recently flopped, but the programmers are still maintaining their views. Who knows what campaign they will attempt next?
