A Conversation for h2g2 University Project: London Underground
Waterloo Station

This station has more train platforms than any other station in London, possibly the entire country.
19 main-line
5 Eurostar (I think)
8 London Underground
for a total of 32, unless you also count Waterloo East as part of the same station, which would add four more. Interestingly, the platforms at Waterloo East have letters (A, B, C and D) instead of numbers so you can't get them confused with the platforms in the main station.
It says on the main page for this project that Waterloo Station has 25 lifts - surely you mean escalators?
