We are voting, but you don't have to vote for an entry of B's short list, you can vote for whichever entry you choose (in which case it would be like nominating your entry AND voting, sort of).

Is there any point voting until you know what the list of nominations are?

I think we can safely skip nominations for December, there were hardly any for November, and anyway, you are free to vote for whichever entry of the specific month you favourise.

WEll, the title clearly says 'November and December Voting', as do the conversations at the bottom of the entry, and as we're several months back, I'd suggest you just vote for your favourite.

I think the confusion arises from the "How Does This Work?" and "What are the Criteria?" sections. It's not clear that we're running an exceptional process this month. I'll just vote, as you said.

Yes, I know what you mean - I realised it when I read back through the article. Maybe B should have skipped the general stuff for this issue, or made it a bit clearer that that part is the *general* bit.

I skipped most of that because somebody (**coughs and looks meaningfully at GB**) was nagging me, so I just tried to get something substantial out for the Post.

Do you think there is a way to improve the current system?
We're several months behind, which isn't really encouraging.

Maybe we could have nominations for Jan/Feb/March in the next issue, without you suggesting yours in the entry, but collect those you find here, then publish those together with your list in the issue on 24th, starting the voting for those months at the same time.
Collect nominations for April and votings for the other three months during the next nine or ten days (depending on how long it takes you to write the next article, then publish that in the following Post - and so on.

I think it would make things easier and clearer, and there should be deadlines for nominating/voting.
