*notices a rose bush that has spontaneously developed in the corner of the garden*

*mediates on the bounty of the earth*

*gets up to walk some of the paths of the garden*

*waves to Gwen and continues towards the new rose bush*

*dips her toes in the pond*

*finally returns from walk, sits zazen, meditates upon those who leave and then return and the journeys they have encountered upon the way*

*sits peacefully trying to not think of journeys, but only the moment*

*thinks about life being a journey, and that the path is the most important thing, and not the destination*

*focuses on the path and becomes even calmer*

*contemplates on the "voice of chaos" being calm , chuckles to self and meditates on the rose bush in the corner*

*without opening her eyes, sticks her tongue out at Courtesy and continues to meditate*

*quietly gathers a hand full of lotus blossoms and wafts them Gwens way, coughs gently and proceeds to break the silence*

Gwen, I just wanted to let you know that I am trying to restart the Book Nook.

*throws some rose pettles, and relaxes back into zazen posture*

master - I am trying to see the rose bush, and not my perception of the rose bush

relaxes even more*

*contemplates bee's knees, successfully achieves a state of no mind*

*trying to locate her last position in the garden*

*fails*

*shrugs*

*sits down cross-legged in the shadow of a tree*

*closes eyes*

*breathing slowly*

*smiles as the serenity continues to grow*

*gets up and walks around the garden, reflects on the rose bushes and willow trees*

*places a blanket on the grass and watches the sun, moon, and stars*

The universe is such an interesting place.
