On the means of manufacturing front, I used to use a stove-top pot, but I've been completely converted by a machine which I was bought, made by a Swiss company called Jura.

You put whole coffee beans in one side, water in the other, press the button and hey presto! A perfect cup of coffee, with a crema and everything, and all the waste tipped into a little plastic bucket you empty every dozen cups or so. Coffee as good as I've ever tasted (especially with the aforementioned Douwe Egberts beans - living in Holland has its up side).

I think it's time for the cuckoo clock to step aside...

A really good coffee I love is Sumartran Expresso its not to pricey, but it is said to be the worlds strongest coffee
