Things have been mental in work for the last few weeks but things should calm down from today on. Unfortunately I don't have internet access in work only at home (I work in an IT department of a multi national company, how backward is that)

Flights and Hotel are booked. I'm staying in the Travel lodge (I hope this one is the correct one). I hope I am still invited

Can't make it, I'm afraid!

A - I don't kno Brum at all - never been.
B - I don't earn a big wage - so it would be an expensive trip.
C - I don't drink booze or like curry - (they want to go to a curry-house).
D - I will prob. be working.

So - can't make it - but would love to see some photos.

I will take some photos but only for black mail purposes!!

On the other hand may not be a good idea to bring a camera with large amounts of booze involved. I have meet PSD several times and I know how the evening usually pans out.

Pity you don't like curry I am still involved in a 10 year process of trying to convert my OH to liking Indian food. She loves all kinds of Chinese food but alas not Indian.

If you are ever over in Ireland lets know and will try and arrange something for you.
