Terror and it's discontents

One man's fascist is another man's duly elected representative...
Loopholes are supposed to be for the clever and
favored few who take advantage of "civilized"
society for the benefit of society,
like lawyers, accountants, film makers,
and entrepreneurs.
Criminals are a given, as they help
fuel the newsreader's companies,
but somethings are just beyond the pale
and them are called terrorism.
Nevermind that historically,
the ancestors of the outraged
had no problem self-righteously,
with "superior fire power" on their side,
spreading as much terror as they could,
all in the name of "progress".
War, on the other hand, is always excusable,
because, being a nation,
somebody has to be on the "other side".
And sometimes, at least, the shooting enemy
is easier to understand than those who
stand behind words and ideals
and snipe away.
In the end,
it's all adults on each side,
with the children in between.
And the children always lose.
