I've been trying not to buy this series sight unseen for years. Now it looks like I will have to get it.
Great entry there TIM, I am sure that Pioneer will love that you sold me on the series . BTW I believe that they are releasing Tenchi Muyo! as part of their Signature series, discounted DVDs for certain of their flagship series.

And I wasn't even going to point anyone towards it til I filled out the gaps! I'm honestly chuffed to bits you found it a good read. Not that I'm biased, but those first two OVAs are brilliant, loveable watching and I'm sure you'll enjoy them. I've off to watch Here Comes Jurai! in a bit actually
This signature series is complete news to me, I might enquire on #WASHU# about it also. Although I already own both OVAs and the whole of Universe on pirate DVDs already it's good to see it's getting another push though. It was so great when they were showing it on Cartoon Network, bless my naivitey...

This looks good to me; your english is excellent.
Nit: there is no apostrophe after "series" unless it's in a possessive phrase.

Hi, congratulations you beat me to it. I was working on something similar but lost all my data after my hard disk and back ups fragged. Still it saves me having to do it all again.
I already had a Tenchi Overview on H2G2 but hadn't sent it for review as I wanted to do some more work on it. Now I am back online I have read your Tenchi entry, and instead of the in depth guide I was planning to write I have opted to alter my original work to include full episode listings for Tenchi and the spin offs. By taking this route I hope that our respective articles are complementary to each other (no need for duplication - Hah!)(in joke). I've taken the liberty of including a link to your guide entry too if that's OK with you
BTW, you've done a great job on describing Tenchi to the uninitiated but I do have to disagree with your opening statement. Hiroki Hyashi is the director of Tenchi (one of them), not the creator. That honour goes to Kajishima Masaki who designed all the original characters.
Apart from that it looks pretty to me.

Oh, it's you! Funnily enough I'd thought about writing a Tenchi entry before I went offline for a little bit recently, and thought "hmmm...best make sure you don't go plagurising that other entry!"...luckily I ended up offline so had to do everything from memory anyway you might notice one or two weeny similarities though.
Funnily enough the route you're taking with your entry is similar to what I'm doing (or *should* be doing!) with my Judas Priest entries. Ah well...that'll be cool, be interesting to see where these go once Peer Review pokes its head up. I got the in-joke btw
Cheers for pointing out the creator thing - I KNEW I had it wrong, but god knows where or how I was gonna correct myself without spending WAY too much time glued to a computer
Bad luck about your comp as well...everyone's worst nightmare

So I bought the first disc of Tenchi Muyo! and I like it. I am glad that it is part of geneon/pioneer's signature series and at a discounted rate.
Key: Complain about this post
