in buthism there is a book called the book of the dead in hinduism every year for fifteen days the dead are honoured their spirits are worshipped and fed also before a child is born the birth is welcomed in all cultures s o may be life is forever before birth as well as after death too

Very true. I think it's a shortcoming of American culture that it doesn't deal very well with death.
