You'll need to mention in a footnote that the planet Ursa Minor Beta is fictional.

Hi GB
... celebrations?
Was Arcas dead at this point?
Popular culture item:
'Little Bear' characters feature in a number of children's books, including a series of Little Bear books by Danish American Author Else Holmelund Minarik. Little Bear was also a character in Jane Hissey's 'Old Bear and Friends' books (my daughter loved these, and she could quote them word for word before she learned to read). Winnie the Pooh wasn't little (he notably got stuck in the entrance to Rabbit's burrow after gorging himself on hunny), but he was a Bear of Very Little Brain.

Thanks Icy

Arcas didn't exist, so he wasn't alive or dead. I've just written up what somebody else made up a long time ago

I wouldn't mention Winnie the Pooh, but it is worth mentioning that the Minarik "Little Bear" stories are illustrated by Maurice Sendak - they're probably more famous for the illustrations than the stories.

added the Minarik "Little Bear" stories are illustrated by Maurice Sendak, and I didn't mention Winnie the Pooh

How did you sneak in there?
Oh well, in that case, he was still full of life when hunting his bear mother so Zeus turned them into constellations to prevent a matricidal tragedy

I'm surprised this has a pic already.

Yes, it was made for Draco by Gnomon, but it includes the constellation Ursa Minor which is why I applied it. This happens rarely because the BLOBs aren't applied until the recommended article has been subbed - but this same chart will be used on both constellations.
Here's Draco: A30466046
The charts definitely improve the Entry

Technically, they're not blobs either, they're just images.

I meant BLOB in the way it's ready for the Entry, the BBC image already in the Guide. It's already been made for the job, which happens very rarely indeed, the only other time it happened before is with Andromeda A27975063 and Pegasus A29779294
You asked me to apply the Andromeda image to the Pegasus entry F8602320?thread=4748295 post 5, when I submitted Pegasus to PR. It won't happen again unless your produce any more connecting constellation images, though

The only other intertwined constellations I can think of are Ophiuchus and Serpens.

There was a problem with the Cepheus picture, which has now been fixed. It looks a lot better.

Another nice one, GB. Nothing really to contribute, except maybe, that it's funny it's called Ursa Minor (f) when, going by the legend, it should really have been Ursus Minor (m).
