May I recomend "the Holy Bible" by the Manic Street Preachers.
It includes great jolly tracks about anorexia (4st 7lb) the holocaust (Masoleum) prostitution (Yes) capital punishment (Archives or Pain) and suicide (Die in the summertime) 
Combined with song titles like "Of Walking Abortion," "She is Suffering" and "The intense humming of evil" you can't go wrong.
Although the general atmosphere is more angry than meloncholic 
I'm sure there is something for every depressive in it.
