Crediting other researchers

Just a quick question (I hope!) :
When is it considered appropriate to credit other researchers for an entry? Is it anyone who helps out, offers advice, offers a page to link to, etc? I'm guessing it's pretty subjective and some people don't 'credit' as much as others, but an idea of what's appropriate would help, please.

It is really up to you and those who have contributed. Why not ask the people concerned if they wish to be credited? Perhaps one URL isn't worthy of a credit, unless it was really fundamental. It is really up to the author of the Entry who they credit. But you wouldn't want to offend anyone. If you are submitting for Editing, you should credit anyone who has made a significant tangible contribution - a paragraph or a few sentences of top-notch explanation.
