Help for someone who can't get in at all

HollePolle has mailed me that he has
- forgotten his BBC name and his password
- forgotten his H2G2 password
- not signed on for a while
- due to a crash or change of PC has lost all cookies
- wants to change his e-mail address.
Is there a way that he can get back in to his old account? His new e-mail is: [email protected]
His U-number is: U155449
Can someone e-mail him the way in or direct me to the right place to ask this question, please?

If he emails h2g2.support [at] bbc.co.uk (replacing [at] with @) giving all the details he can remember - most importantly the U-number and the email address used to register the account - the Italics should be able to help.
