Hi

I guess the others are waiting for the 28th to arrive in the UK.

That looks interesting - is there any to spare?

I wanted to sample beers from all the h2g2 countries, so may I start with a pint of Aussie beer? The party's already going strong here at h2g2 . . . Peta, can you turn down the music a bit?

Sorry I've got terrible Tintinitous, I keep hearing Joanna, talking to me in the daytime. smiley - winkeye

What do you want in the Aussie beer line, Ted?

We have Coopers, Cascade, Boags, Redback, and for the less adventurous the venerable oldies like VB and Tooheys New. Myself, I'm partial to a Boags...smiley - winkeye

PS, DD, what's "Tintinitous"?

You could try the various James Squires organoleptic delights from the Malt Shovel Brewery ( http://www.maltshovel.com.au/ )from beautiful downtown Camperdown in Sydney - though being Australian & from NSW they'll be schooners rather than pintssmiley - smiley.

Hypoman - Tintinitous is that lovely ringing in the ears (sometimes permanent) you get from prolonged loud noises - like spending most of an AC/DC concert with your head buried in a speaker boxsmiley - winkeye

Hmm, this pile of M Moxon private stock is getting a bit sparsesmiley - winkeye

Have to splice it with something else - a slab of Lion Red should do the trick!

Dom Perignon 1964. Good. Anyone want a glass or a bottle or 30?

FYI--it's Tinitis not Tintinitous. Just thought I'd let you know. It's one of the first signs of inner ear damage.smiley - smiley
