Good to see this on the Front Page
A fine entry on an amazing bird.
It's actually listed in the back of my RSPB birds book as a rare vagrant to Europe. I don't know when the last one was spotted here.

Thanks Icy, I enjoyed doing both the Eagle entries, having watched the Golden Eagle for hour after hour in Scotland. They are definitely the king of birds for me.

I live in Wisconsin, on the Wisconsin River, and we get Bald Eagles every year in February. There's one island in particular that always has 8 or 9 of them sitting on it's branches. There's a weekend in our town where people come from all over to watch them from a couple of Eagle watching points. and of course, the HS football team is named the Eagles
