Whoa! THIS is plenty reason to party! Odra and Styx!! And here I was just coming out for a cup of hot chocolate. I must sleep soon, but not yet.

Where have you been? I thought perhaps you started school somewhere that didn't have an internet connection, you know, like a convent or something.

*makes a Styx cocktail for the Rat of Rats*

Aren't we the demanding one...some things never change. Here l am breaking my back over the backlog, and you want ginger ale and cherries...

*decides to acquiece just this once, pours and adds cherries, but leaves it on the counter for him. Pokes around in the fridge; resolves to whip herself up a kahluha milkshake (the breakfast of champions, don't you know...)*

Convent? Eh, l'm none so lucky. With my GPA, not even a convent/seminary/liturgical school would accept me...

No, it's community college for me (or JC, depending on your locale). Which means l live at home still (sigh) but with luck l shall transfer in a year.

*gives her concoction a whizz in the blender; notices that Lil took the liberty of preparing Styx a cocktail herself and decides to make her extra one into a chaser. Pours her milkshake and settles down in the atelier once again*

Matina, will you go air Odra's rooms please, and set a fire in the hearth.

*Nukes milk for hot chocolate, and carries that and the ginger ale into the salon, putting the styx cocktail on a low table*

Well, it's good to have you back. Course, I'm on my last few days before I leave for NM, but I've told you all about that elsewhere. And my cyber-nephew is back in GMT land, so you can get properly in trouble, I mean acquainted with him.

*sips hot chocolate*

'S good to be back. l do apologise for my abrupt departure, but RL got decidedly weird for a space, there. l've been everywhere from pedophiles' apartments to the streets of Baltimore at one in the morning; attending cocktail parties for toffee-nosed educational institutions to visitor's hours at mental institutions...and now l'm ready to sit quietly at home in front of my poor neglected CPU.

*Diogenes trots through the door, tail cocked jauntily, and settles in front of the hearth*

Getting in trouble? And here l promised that probation officer that l'd be behaving myself...but that's a story for another time...
