Well, this evening I have finally put up a little extra material on the FFFF logo. I'm sure everyone will detest the second design I had come up with, where I took the letters out of the cross mandala and just stacked them. Got to practise drawing ferrets and monkeys now. I have been wanting to draw Ook for a long time, and now there's a statue in the Aroma Cafe. And two or three commissions stacked up. I may actually turn down further commissions for the time being, there's so much to do.

Lil, talking about animals leads me to ask a couple of questions that have been puzzling me. Does your real-life dog prefer to eat preservative-free dog-food and do the Chinese prefer to eat preservative-free dog?

I read about the excellent work put in by the fire-recovery team.

Done cleaning house, finally! Phew. Now I can sit back and enjoy a little gratuitous, sweaty violence.

My dog, bleeding edge genetic marvel that she is, is allergic to the preservatives in tinned or preserved food. Every 9 or 10 days I break a huge package of minced beef out of the freezer (I buy it at wholesale price) and fry it all up, add water for stock, and package it into a bunch of 8 oz. TV dinners, which I freeze. Ditto instant rice. And she gets nuked beef and rice every day. It works out not much more expensive than the canned stuff. A lot cheaper when you factor in vet bills.

Looks like Styx is sleeping in tonight.
