I must say the fun was intense

And the rest of us learned
Where he'd been, whither and whence.
Bald Bloke and Phil went off drinking
But building befuddled B4.
Young Mags had a secret and summery kiss
And Beatrice was moving which pleased her young miss
While Santra keeps posting from that place and this
I couldn't have liked it more.

The Imp had a go at the Bird

From reading the rest
What's happened chez Happy Nerd.
It snowed really hard on the Thinker

I go to church once a year, for Remembrance service. I have no belief, but that is the mechanism through which our society respects the sacrfices of those rough men who stood ready to visit violence on those who would harm us. It's that commitment I honour, not the religious trappings around it. And since my elder step-son has recently returned from a long front-line tour, and is now off to train for bomb dis, I feel the need to honour that even more keenly. Less a case of 'my country, right or wrong', more a case of 'their arses, right or wrong'.
