Drusilla

Drusilla is the seriously cool (if tortured and insane) vampire paramour of Spike on the hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She used to be a very pure and devout young girl, but an encounter with Angelus (Angel) in 1860 changed all that. Drusilla had a vision, and went to confession to be absolved, but Angel had just eaten the priest. Listening to Drusilla, Angel realised she could be useful, as well as the fact she was beautiful. Spike, had he been a vampire not an eight-year-old starting a career in petty crime at the time, would have vamped her there and then, but Angelus felt a need to have some fun. Strange man. He told her she was a child of the devil and should follow her urges. Drusilla refused to, so Angel massacared her family in front of her. She went insane and fled to a convent, but on the night she took her vows Angel tortured her and made her in to a vampire.

After Angel was cursed by gypsies in the 1890s, Drusilla hung around with another of Angel's 'children' and fellow North Londoner, Spike, they fell in what can only be called 'love' (as far as demons can), and they terrorised Eastern Europe together until Drusilla met with an angry mob in Prague. Most demons would have left her there to die, but Spike saved her and vowed to make sure she became well again. Spike eventually managed this but was weakened himself (he had a burning church organ dropped on him).

Spike and Dru were joined by their sire Angel at the end of series 2. Drusilla had missed him, and followed him everywhere like a puppy dog. Spike grew very jealous and helped the Slayer (Buffy) to dispose of Angelus. Drusilla was mightily pissed off by this and dumped Spike. Since then they got back together again for a short time, but Drusilla dumped Spike again for no fully explained reason.

When she was weak, Drusilla wore a white dress and black nail polish. When she was strong and slightly bitchy, she wore a red dress, red coat and red nail polish. She has 'bagged' one Slayer in comparison to Spike's two.

Hopefully, one day, Spike and Dru will get back together. Until then, we can only wait...
