You know who I mised out completely? Black Sabbath. I nearly kicked myself when the official entry popped up so many times...

I don't think that there are any Metallica entries on H2G2. You can link to Metallica.com to get the history of the band.

I know that they came on the scene in the early 80's and that they've been around ever since. As for Glam and Hair, they are kinda the same thing. Cinderella, Testament, Winger, Whitesnake, Motley Crue (in the beginning), Poison, etc.
